Bikini photography is where confidence meets craft. I've been shooting glamour and bikini sessions in Houston since founding Visual Poison in 2010, and every session is built around making you feel as good as you look on camera. Whether we're working in my studio with Alien Bees strobe lighting for that crisp, editorial look, or on location with natural light and Godox lighting to capture something warmer and more organic, I guide you through posing, wardrobe, and expression so you never have to guess what to do in front of the lens. My work has been featured in MAXIM USA and a dozen other publications, and contracted photographer for Swimsuit USA for 8 years. That same eye for composition and light goes into every client session, not just the magazine work. If you've never done a bikini shoot before, that's completely normal — most of my clients haven't either, and that's exactly what I'm here to help you through. FAQ at the bottom.

What should I wear for a bikini photoshoot?

Depending on the timeframe selected, bring at least 3-4 suit options; I'll help you pick the best one for the lighting and location once you arrive. Also bring accessories like jewelry, hats, sunglasses, floats etc to fit the vibe you are going for!

Do I need prior modeling experience?

No, most clients haven't modeled before. I direct every pose so you always know what to do. Getting started is simple. Reach out through our contact form or schedule a call, we'll walk you through the next steps and answer any questions along the way.

Studio or outdoor session, which is better?

Studio gives more lighting control but not my personal favorite; outdoor sessions have a more natural, editorial feel. You can arrange a location or I am happy to help you decide based on the look you want.
